Morillon is situated in the Grand Massif, close to Mont Blanc. It is part of a large ski area including Samoens, Flaine, Les Carroz and Sixt fer à cheval; and is close to the borders of both Switzerland and Italy.

The Grand Massif ski area has 148 slopes: 20 green slopes for beginners, 64 blue slopes and 50 red slopes for skiers with a medium level as well as 14 black slopes for experienced skiers. There is also off-piste skiing to be had, for which we recommend hiring a guide.

Budget airlines such as EasyJet and Flybe fly to Geneva, or alternatively Chambery (100kms), from many regional as well as international airports.

If hiring a car make sure you hire from the Swiss (as opposed to the French) side of Geneva airport.  The journey takes approximately 1 hour by car.

The resort is self-contained so in the winter you don’t necessarily need a car to get around – you could get a ski transfer service from www.one-step-beyond.fr/.
